Class 1 Division 2 purged workstations

1 Div 2 equipment.
Tough
The VT500ESW, enclosed purged workstation,
is built to withstand the harshest conditions
with a sealed, purged Class 1 Div 2, stainless
steel enclosure. There are no external vents which
helps to protect the VT500ESW computer components
from dust, dirt, moisture, chemicals oil, and
other external contaminants.
Airtight
A sophisticated closed-loop thermal management
system utilizes a bi-planar finned, anodized aluminum
heat exchanger to keep the enclosed computer's
internal operating temperatures low. VarTech's
rugged Purged series operator interface systems
allow for the placement of totally enclosed
computers into areas classified as hazardous
(explosive). Intrinsically safe, this purging
(pressurization) approach ensures that there will
always be a continuous clean air-flow out of the
enclosure thereby preventing the intrusion of
explosive gasses or dust into the enclosure. Shock
and vibration isolation is provided at two levels
-- on the chassis and in the drive bay -- for
protection in severe vibration environments.
