VarTech's Class 2, Division 1, Groups E, F, and G industrial workstations and LCD computers, use a Type Y automatic pressurization system which operates by pressurizing the systems air so no ignitable materials can enter. Once the system is stabilized and confirmed, and constant pressure is maintained within the system, the enclosure is energized.

X Type Purge System for Class 2, Div 1, Groups E, F, and G

This system is for use in Class 2, Division 1, Groups E, F, and G. It includes an electrical power control unit (EPCU) that monitors system operation and controls enclosure power. All start-up requirements must be satisfied before the EPCU will energize power to the enclosure(s).
