VarTech offers a comprehensive range of actively enhanced High Brightness Sunlight Viewable Flatpanels. These TFT High Brightness LCD Monitors are designed to operate in high ambient light conditions. At 750 nits (cd/m²) to 1500 nits (cd/m²) of brightness, VarTech's Daylight Readable Monitors outperform commercially available products that washout in direct and/or indirect sunlight conditions. These superior quality High Bright Daylight Viewable LCD Monitors are an ideal solution for factory automation, marine/mobile and process control applications. Sunlight readable touch screen displays are available upon request.

VarTech’s proprietary backlighting technology was developed for displays requiring a luminance level of at least 700 nits (cd/m²) as required for outside viewing. When compared to traditional higher wattage backlit systems, VarTech’s unique proprietary technology achieves a high brightness LCD but with its advanced thermal management system eliminates the added heat from traditional CCFL backlighting. Other improvements include significantly reduced power consumption, increased reliability of the high bright monitor, extended lifetime of the display system, inherit protections against environmental factors such as shock, vibration and frigid temperatures.
