2005 - With the need for industrial
computers to be faster and more powerful, the amount of
equipment in a companies command center continues to grow.
Space is quickly becoming a concern of many. VarTech has again
met another challenge with the new line of RackVue 1U Rack
Mountable LCD Monitor and Keyboard with KVM Switch Options.
Now instead of increasing the amount of equipment in your
control room, you can actually begin to decrease the valuable
space that monitors claim.
With RackVue, you can now control as little as 8 and as many
as 512 computers from 1 small rack mountable monitor and keyboard.
This unit that is no larger than a laptop is equipped with
a special slider that allows for smooth extraction from the
rack. Both 15" and 17" monitor sizes are available.
All connected computers can easily be monitored using the
auto-scan function. For added protection some models are equipped
with a password function that enables limited access to all
computers.
With our B-series RackVue systems we stress "SECURITY"
by utilizing two levels of security measures: (1) lockable
drawer, (2) password access (computers can only be accessed
through hotkeys or OSD and nobody can do it without the password).
Our D-series stresses "CONVENIENCE" and although
the drawer is still lockable, once you open the lock, you
can conveniently access each computer through external access
buttons.
