Widescreen Hi-Def 1080p and WXGA LCDs 32" to 55"

VarTech's rugged line of industrial grade large screen, wide video format LCDs is ideal for digital signage, presentation needs or as plant floor process information displays. Designed with rugged metal enclosures,these units offer bright active matrix TFT screens, crisp images, wide viewing angles, high contrast ratios, and fast response times. These 1080p True Hi-Definition displays come with multiple computer and video input capabilities, and are available in 32", 42" and 55" models. Displays are rated to 50,000 hours of viewing time to half of their original brightness.

42" Fully-Enclosed NEMA 4 (IP65) and NEMA 4X (IP66) Widescreen Models

Fully-enclosed, full-color NEMA 4 (IP65) VESA Mountable 42-inch LCD Display designed to operate in harsh environments and is ideally suited for a wide variety of industrial plant floor applications. This unit is also available as a fully-enclosed NEMA 4X (IP66) 42-inch LCD Display designed to operate in even harsher environments, such as water direct hose-down applications. Features include: Integrated VGA Extender with transmission length up to 330meters, adjustable equalization and gain control, de-skew compensation available for RGB delay control, 2500:1 Contrast, 16.9 million colors, and 178º / 178º Viewing angle (V/H). In addition, an optional infrared touch screen technology with 27 Million Touches rating is also available.

All-Weather Outdoor Widescreen

VarTech’s Outdoor Weatherproof Large-Screen LCDs are backlit with advanced lighting technology and integrated with VarTech's proprietary Optical Stack Enhancement (OSE), a unique optical design which boosts efficiency of the backlight's light utilization and minimizes the surface reflection of ambient light. The result is a transmissive enhancement that features higher contrast and a wider range of colors, even in bright outdoor light, than traditional reflective LCDs. This is accomplished by: (1) Recycling what would be wasted off axis light and then redirecting light towards the viewer; (2) Reflecting and recycling polarized light which under normal circumstances 50% of the backlight output would have been absorbed into the LCD and subsequently wasted; and (3) Finally, the use of a mirror-like optical enhancement film coupled with a cavity reflector ultimately yields a brighter more efficient display.

The brightness can easily be adjusted via the supplied remote control and on-screen menu or by auto dimmer, so that the screen is displaying the optimum brightness for various outdoor conditions.

Vartech's All-Weather Ultra Rugged Widescreen models are built for the rigors of outdoor use and harsh weather conditions which make them ideal for digital signage, walkway advertising, kiosks, etc. .
