Next Stop - EastPack June 6-8, 2006

Thanks to all who visited us at Interphex 2006 in New York. The Exhibit was our first of the 2006 Trade Show season, and we had a great response to our newly introduced products. "Visitors were impressed by the quality of VarTech's products. Many didn't realize that all of our products are industrialized from the 'ground-up' and not commercial displays that have been industrialized," says Michael Belmore, a VarTech sales manager. One of Our Nema 4X fully enclosed computer systems which was shown with a continuous flow of water over the enclosure, captured much attention from our visitors. Product Engineers and Sales Personnel had a chance to meet many of you and give details on our new and upcoming product offerings. Optically Bonded High Brights (VBOND) - Now Available For 27" - 42" Displays

In the world of LCD's, VarTech Systems takes display enhancement to a new level above all others. Utilizing advanced proprietary optical bonding technology; VarTech overcomes optical challenges for display product manufacturers at an affordable price. Our support of this technology throughout our 6.4" through 23.1" product line has generated much interest, impressive sales and consistent repeat orders. Now, we are pleased to report our extended capabilities by offering this unique technology for even larger sized VarTech monitors, 27" up to 47" LCD display systems.

In a wide range of applications, standard liquid crystal displays appear "washed out" in high ambient lighting conditions. This wash out is due to excessive reflections and glare caused by bright light. Commercially available LCDs, especially when protected by a separate cover glass or plastic shield, cannot deliver enough brightness to make the display functional in outdoors or in other high ambient light applications. The exclusive VBOND process from VarTech provides a significant reduction of ambient light reflections at an affordable price, compared to other display enhancement technologies.

VBOND seals either a top cover glass or touch screen directly to the face of the display bezel. Our bonding process eliminates the air-gap between the display and the cover glass, vastly reducing reflective light, which causes visual washout of the display image. VBOND also enhances structural integrity by supporting the LCD assembly with the cover glass. The bond maintains perfect display uniformity while providing shock protection, unlimited humidity protection, and elimination of fogging caused by trapped moisture accumulating in typical air-gap assemblies.

Wash Away The Grime - NEMA 4X (IP66) Integrated PC Terminal for Wash Down Environments

The VTPC150SE is a totally sealed low-power consumption computer terminal. The sturdy totally sealed stainless steel case is ideally suited for wash-down or dusty/dirty industrial environments. The base configuration is nicely equipped with a color LCD screen 24-bits color TFT 15 inch resistive touch screen (1024 x 768 XGA) and a VIA Eden 800 MHz processor. A Teflon tip pen is available to point precisely on the touch screen. As an option, a WiFi 802.11b RF network interface can be ordered.

To enhance system usability the flash drive comes complete with Microsoft Windows XP® Embedded operating system and is designed with built-in security features that protect the flash drive from deletions and modifications to the operating system.
