New Year - New Products

2005 brought many new products to VarTech's line of rugged lcd flat panel monitors, computers and panel pcs. In 2005 we released our innovative V-BOND technology, highly demanded Sunlight Readable LCDs and Panel PCs, just to name a few.

With 2006 upon us VarTech maintains the tradition of continually introducing new products that meet our customers evolving needs. We are continually expanding our High Brightness Monitor line to include even more sizes, configurations and luminance levels than ever before. To our line of Panel PCs we have added 3 fanless models and we now have available large screen monitors which range from 27" to 47".

High Brightness 700 nits Desktop LCDs

Many users experience poor monitor viewing quality due to high ambient lighting conditions. The high brightness desktop LCDs are ideal for any application where there is a concern with either direct sunlight or high ambient lighting conditions. These sunlight readable monitors have a luminance of 700 nits and fit perfectly on any desktop.

As with each flat panel in the high bright product line, our newly released 19" high bright panels are ideal for high ambient lighting conditions. The 19" high bright LCDs have a screen luminance level of 850 nits. There are a variety of mounting options and configurations available.

Fanless Panel PCs
8.4" - 10.4" - 15"

VarTech Systems proudly debuts three "Fanless" Panel PCs, models VTPC084F, VTPC104F and VTPC150F. These latest industrial-grade Panel PCs are all engineered with VIA Eden 733MHz processors, which are well known for low power consumption. With its compact size and low noise performance, it truly answers the demands from space-saving and silent operating environments.

* "Fanless" Technology
These newly added models are all designed with VIA platform. The "Fanless" architecture is built by VIA Eden processor and VIA VT8606 Northbridge. It produces less heat than other processors but maintains an above average performance. The major benefit of this "Fanless" design is to reduce the field failures often caused by degrading fan performance and subsequently extend the operational lifetime of the machine. Furthermore, this series is equipped with DC power inputs offering more space for internal computing. This design eliminates heat buildup from the power supply.

* Rich Expandability
Although compact in design, VarTech's engineers future expandability in mind. These Panel PC systems are equipped with 2 x USB, 1 x Parallel, 2 x Serial (+5/+12), 2 x keyboard/mouse and 1 x Gbit LAN ports. Users are therefore allowed the capability of connecting with different peripherals and networks. Furthermore, this "Fanless: series is incorporated with 1 x slim HDD and 1 x CF slot with IDE interface. Users can install Embedded OS such as Windows CE.NET and XP Embedded in the CF card allowing easy switching through the left side slot. Slim CD-ROM is also an optional accessory.

* Durable Application
VarTech's "Fanless" Panel PCs are built with an electro-galvanized steel chassis and sealed aluminum front bezel. It has acquired NEMA 4 and IP65 rating and guarantees to work under humid and dust environments. This product line is also designed for a high storage temperature at 60^oC (140^oF) and operating temperatures from -20^oC (-4^oF) up to 40^oC (104^oF). The rugged construction undoubtedly keeps you away from computing failures.
