VT201RMX
- Military Grade LCD Available with Flicker-Free Images
In 2007 VarTech is introducing a variety of new products which are
designed to meet our evolving customer needs. The VT201RMX
is a 20.1 LCD (UXGA resolution) that has been tailored for
harsh environments. The display is ideal for a variety of applications,
such as, radar display systems, fire and machinery control systems,
sonar systems and UAV ground control systems. Whether operating
in the air, on the ground or on a ship this unit will fit perfectly
into your application.
In
order to withstand the harshest conditions, the drip proof VT201RMX
is constructed completely of metal, and the display's filter glass
has a multiple layered optical enhancement to improve viewing quality.
The EMI shield and user-friendly slim design provide a reliable
display solution. In order to reduce display noise, a fan-less conduction
cooling system is a standard feature of the LCD. To further increase
the display's capabilities an extended dimming range, 2nd input
signal and flicker-free control (FFC) may be added to your display.
The
VT201RMX meets a variety of military and other testing standards
including:
- MIL-STD-810F
(test standards)
- Operational
Temperature Range: -10C to +55C
- Shock:
30g-11ms, half sine
- MIL-STD-167-1
Type 1 (vibration)
- EMI/EMC:
MIL-STD-461E
CE102, RE101, RE102
CS101, CS114, CS116, RS101, RS103

Show News
The
December I/ITSEC show in Orlando wrapped up the 2006
trade show season. Participants were able to see the highly engineered
VarTech products first hand.
The
newly introduced VT084PX
ruggedized unit was unveiled at the show. The display attracted
much attention. It has been rigorously tested and received many
certifications including those for extended temperatures and tactical
vibrations. Also on display at the show was an Optical Touch Widescreen
display. Many show visitors were educated on the new technology
of adding touch screens to large displays.
The
New Orleans Workboat Show was a first time appearance
for VarTech. The rugged NEMA 4X water display drew many visitors
to our booth and generated much interest in our entire line of NEMA
rated products. Visitors
were given the opportunity to investigate the intricate seals that
provide extreme waterproof capabilities.
The
VBOND system for generating sunlight readable displays without the
extra heat from added backlights impressed visitors and was demonstrated
frequently.
Thanks
to all who visited VarTech at the tradeshows during the year. VarTech's
2007 trade show season begins in April with South Pack in Atlanta,
GA.
