Update
Thanks
to our current and prospective clients for helping us make EastPack
2006 a great success. We experienced a constant flow of visitors
who were very interested in the NEMA 4X products on display. A number
of completely sealed IP66 workstations, computers and flat panel
display systems were demonstrated, many of which included touch
screen capabilities, complex closed loop thermal management protection
and advanced processing features.
Next stop on the 2006 Trade Show Circuit is Process Expo
which is co-located with Pack Expo International. VarTech will be
displaying in Booth #6849. The shows run from October
29 - November 2, 2006 at McCormick Place in Chicago, IL. We hope
to see you there! Free expo passes are available through VarTech
Systems.

Facts - The Path of Hurricane Katrina's flooding in New Orleans
|
|
Being only about 60 miles North
of New Orleans, LA the Baton Rouge area has very close ties to
the City of New Orleans. Being the editor of the VarTech Vision
and a New Orleans native we decided to show a flash presentation
that was published in the on-line version of the local New Orleans
newspaper. Many often relate to New Orleans as the French Quarter
and do not realize how large a path of destruction Hurricane Katrina
actually caused. The linked Flash file will show just how the
levees failed and water over took and devastated much of the City
of New Orleans and some surrounding areas.
