Our next stop on the 2006 trade show circuit is EastPack being held June 6 - 8 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City.

EastPack is the East coast of North America's largest packaging and processing event. NEW !!! Optical Touch Screens Now Available with our 32", 42" and 47" WXGA Large Screen Displays

As the world of touch screen technology evolves, touch screens are becoming readily available on large screen displays. VarTech continues to introduce display products that provide functionality above and beyond standard display units. Continuing with this reputation we have newly introduced optical touch screens in combination with our 32", 42" and 47" displays.

VarTech's Optical imaging technology revolutionizes the way we interface with computer technology. Unlike many touch screens displays the entire screen, corners included, is sensitive to the touch.

 

32", 42" and 47" Touch Screen Features

Plug-and-Play
VarTech’s new touch solutions do not require special software drivers; they incorporate HID compliant USB plug-and-play interfaces.

High Clarity of Image
This technology uses optical components. No surface coatings are used on the screens - hence images are kept crystal clear.

Light Touch
Any method can be used to touch the screen: a finger, a gloved hand or any pointer. Only a light touch is required.

Whole Screen Coverage
Optical imaging technology provides touch sensitivity over the whole screen, including the corners. With over 400,000 touch points, accuracy is guaranteed.

Once-only Calibration
Optical imaging technology touch screens are calibrated just once at commissioning time. The technology provides continuous operation with no drift, no need to recalibrate.

Robust
Because optical imaging technology solutions don't employ surface coatings, the customer-facing screen is not affected by scratches or contamination. Also, the products can be easily sealed for resistance to dirt, dust and moisture, making them ideal for demanding public environments. The modular touch screen system can be replaced in the event of failure or damage.

Additional Functionality
Provides two-touch capability, middle mouse-key scrolling and object size recognition. Diagnostic utilities are also available

12.1" Ultra High Bright 1000 cd/m2 Line

The 12.1" Ultra High Bright Series from VarTech has recently been introduced. The advanced design ensures greater efficiency in your industrial and process control environments. The monitor has a luminance level of 1000 nits (cd/m2) making it ideal for any environment exposed to direct sunlight or high ambient lighting conditions. The anti-reflective faceplate maintains crisp and clear monitor images in any lighting condition. Currently, the monitor supports VGA to SVGA resolutions.

Capacitive or resistive touch screens may be added to any of the 12.1" Ultra High Bright Displays. The line is available in a variety of mounting options including open-frame chassis mount, NEMA 4 and NEMA 4X panel mount, VESA mount, rack mount, and yoke mount.

REPAIR SERVICES

We Service All Brands of LCD Flat Panels & Legacy CRT Monitors

VarTech Systems Inc. provides LOW COST, RAPID INDUSTRIAL MONITOR REPAIR (usually 1-3 day turnaround time) or total refurbishment of industrial grade CRT monitors and LCD flat panel displays from low-resolution monochrome to high-resolution color. Our repair capabilities include picture tube or LCD replacement, integrated high voltage flyback replacement, board and component level repairs, and full factory remanufacturing.

Our factory trained engineers and technicians service analog and digital boards, power supplies, and touch systems. Printed circuit board repairs include EXTENSIVE TESTING of all internal functions. To ensure product integrity, all boards are 100% system tested. We offer Free Evaluation...meaning there is no charge for initial bench-time. If we are unable to fix the monitor or should you elect not to go forward with the repair process...you owe us nothing. VarTech is committed to providing the highest level of industrial monitor repair service in the industry.

  Basic Industrial Monitor Repair
• Replace all faulty or non-operational components
  (excluding CRT or LCD)
• Evaluate and replace all "High-Failure-Rate" components
• Thoroughly clean entire monitor
• Complete 24-hour system testing
• One year warranty on workmanship		  
  Factory Monitor Remanufacturing Program
• Replace faulty, dim and/or screen-burnt CRT or LCD with a
   brand new picture tube
• Replace all faulty or non-operational components
• Replace all "High-Failure-Rate" components
• Replace Integrated Flyback Transformer (IFT) as needed
• Replace faulty or weak electrolytic capacitors and other ICs
   as needed
• Thoroughly clean entire monitor
• Repaint exterior casing, CRT bezel and front control panel
   as needed
• Adjust convergence, color balance and all internal system
   controls back to the original manufacturer's specification
• Complete 24-hour system testing
• One year warranty on ENTIRE monitor		  
 

Factory Service Program (FSP)
• Replace faulty, dim and /or screen-burnt CRT or LCD with a
   brand new picture tube or flat panel
• Evaluate all "High-Failure-Rate" components
• Thoroughly clean entire monitor
• Complete 24-hour system testing
• One year warranty on workmanship

  

Retrofit Program
Should we deem your monitor to be un-repairable and if we are unable to offer you a brand new direct VarTech replacement, we have the capabilities of removing all of the electronics and CRT or LCD from your existing chassis and "retrofitting" a brand new industrial monitor INTO your monitor frame thus not compromising any unique mechanical mounting compatibility issues.
