Both are integrated with a harsh-duty type SXGA (1280 x 1024) resolution LCD and were specifically designed to withstand maritime environments and to meet stringent demands of international standards for maritime navigation and radio communications equipment and systems. Each model features protection to IP65 (NEMA 4) at the front bezel and are designed to be placed in a variety of demanding environments. With proven advanced optical display technology and rugged design engineering, VarTech’s innovative display concepts make the VT170RP2 and the VT190RP2 a superior solution for open cockpits, fly bridges and pilothouses.

Factory Monitor Remanufacturing Program

• Replace Intergated Flyback Transformer (IFT) as needed
• Replace faulty or weak electrolytic capacitors and other ICs as needed

• Adjust convergence, color balance and all internal system controls back to the original manufacturer's specification
• Complete 24-hour system testing

Retrofit Program
• Retains the monitor’s original frame so there’s no question regarding remounting into your system
• We remove the old CRT and integrate in its place a brand new LCD
• We remove all original circuit boards, electronics and wiring, replace with new VarTech components
• Many of our controllers are integrated with special Signal Recognition and Scaling Software capable of operating with legacy video formats
