NEMA 4X (IP66) Sunlight Readable Workstation
VT190ESWHB Utilizes Intel Core Duo Technology

VarTech has recently introduced a high bright version of its popular 19" totally enclosed NEMA 4X workstation. The IP66 fully-sealed VT190ESWHB is ideal for harsh environments, and its 850 nits optically bonded high luminance LCD display provides crisp and clear images in any lighting condition - including direct sunlight or any other high ambient lighting applications.

The VT190ESWHB is built to operate in rugged conditions. It has no external vents thereby protecting it from fine dust particles, dirt, rain, excessive moisture and other external contaminants. Utilizing an advanced airtight closed-loop thermal management system allows for low internal ambient operational temperatures -- without using external air -- even when operating in the most extreme temperatures. Additional cooling options are available including air-to-air heat pipe compact coolers or thermostatically controlled Votex compressed air cooling.

Engineered with shock and vibration safeguards, the VT190ESWHB also utilizes the most powerful and configurable computer in VarTech's industrial computer lineup. The computer is equipped with an Intel core duo 1.73GHz processor and 2GB of memory (standard). The system utilizes a 120GB SATA hard drive with ShockGuard technology. Fully Enclosed Compact Industrial NEMA 4 (IP65) and NEMA 4X (IP66) Touch Panel Computer Systems
Available in 15" and 17" Display Sizes

VarTech has expanded its current line of fully enclosed industrial LCD and computer systems to include new 15" and 17" NEMA 4 and NEMA 4X stainless steel models. These advanced systems are compact, mechanically robust and completely sealed. The omission of ventilation slots, external fans, and failure-prone components allows multi-purpose employment – even in the most extreme production environments. NEMA 4 applications range from acquisition of operating data, machine data, and time & attendance data, via machine control (HMI) with process visualization to mobile operation in inventory control, or in the construction industry on a variety of carrier vehicles. For more rigorous hygiene standards comparable NEMA 4X (IP66) models are available. Prevalent applications include clinical areas, chemical and pharmaceutical laboratories, food and/or beverage processing.

Standard features of the LCD touch screen include high-contrast ratio, extremely long-lived industrial TFT displays which guarantee good readability even under the worst possible conditions. The displays are available in sizes of 15” and 17”. In addition, integrated, resistive touch panels make for simple and safe operation - even with protective gloves worn.

VarTech made its last 2007 trade show appearance at the Process Expo in Las Vegas. We were given the opportunity to share our product line with trade show attendees. The 2008 trade show season will begin with ATX West / West Pack which is being held in Anaheim, CA January 29 - 31.
