PRODUCT ENHANCEMENT

    Optically Enhanced Large Screen Displays Now Available in 27" - 47"

Sunlight readability is a necessary flat panel feature for many applications. There are a few options available to enhance monitor viewing in direct sunlight or other high ambient lighting conditions. Until now most VarTech Monitors under 23" were able to be optically enhanced. With new technology currently available, we can now optically bond most monitors from the 6.4" to the 47". VarTech Systems can optically enhance or VBOND an LCD screen. The VBOND process provides numerous benefits to a display. The major benefit is the enhanced viewing quality in bright environments. In many cases an industrial monitor with an average luminance level will become completely daylight readable in most lighting environments. In addition to daylight readability, VBOND provides additional shock protection to all LCD screens.

The VBOND process begins with adding an anti-reflective coating directly to the LCD glass which leads to an increase in display luminance, without increasing internal monitor temperature. VBOND is an ideal solution for anyone who needs a high bright monitor without added heat that can be detrimental to their application. A perfect example would be our numerous NASCAR Team clients. The pit crews need the ability to view their monitors in various light conditions and must avoid high heat which can shut a monitor down.

JUST RELEASED

All-In-One 32" Display And Computer - VTPC320

An exciting new product line is being developed at VarTech Systems. Just released is the 32" all-in-one display and computer. The new system is ideal for a variety of automation and digital signage applications.

The powerful high bright display has an impressive 1000:1 contrast ratio and can be equipped with either a Windows XP or Windows 2000 operating system. Each display comes standard with picture-in-picture features, and the fanless cooling system allows for low noise levels. The display's OSD is conveniently controlled by remote or push-button.

When using some displays outdoors, screen quality may be less than ideal. To combat that issue, you may choose to equip your all-in-one computer display with either anti-reflective or anti-glare coatings. The displays ambient light sensor may also be adjusted.

The built-in computer is complete with an Intel® Celeron® M 1 GB processor and 30GB HDD, and the systems loop-through capability allows one central command center for your automation process. All necessary computer ports are standard: 2 COM ports, 2 USB 2.0 ports, 1 10/100 Mbps LAN (RJ45) port, and a PCMCIA II/III card bus slot.

ENHANCED FEATURES

Our model VT150WESS Fully-Enclosed NEMA 4X (IP66) Display System can now be equipped with an integrated KVM extender.

The internal extender kit automatically measures the distance between the local and remote units and adjusts video equalization and gain for cable length. There are no jumpers to set or knobs to manipulate. You can even display the distance measurement if you like.

Make your resolutions go the distance.
You get outstanding video resolution with this extender. Video quality is superb and clear no matter what the length of your extension application is.

Get the boot—with keyboard and mouse emulation.
The Mini CATx Extenders use a microprocessor that emulates remote keyboard and mouse signals. That means if the remote keyboard and mouse aren’t connected, the local CPU can still boot as long as it’s connected to the local extender unit.
