This NEMA 4 (IP65) Industrial Grade 8.4” LED Enhanced Sunlight Readable Panel Mount LCD touch screen computer system offers a compact design and is ideal for a variety of industrial process control and outdoor environments. A truly sunlight readable display featuring not only VarTech’s proprietary white LED high-luminance backlighting, but as well a unique optical design which boosts efficiency of the backlight's light utilization and minimizes the surface reflection of ambient light. The result is a transmissive enhancement that features higher contrast and a wider range of colors, even in bright outdoor light, than traditional reflective LCDs. The touch screen is then optically bonded to the front of the LCD surface for added Shock & Vibration protection and reduced solar reflectivity. The computer boasts Intel’s Atom™ Z510P 1.1GHz processor, 1GB of memory and 1 x CompactFlash Type II slot & 2 x SD slots. The 8.4" Panel PC is also available with VarTech’s NEMA 4X (IP66) 316 stainless steel beveled bezel (as model VTPC084PSHB2).
