Features

Extended Environmental Protection

Our computers, monitors, and workstations can be equipped with extreme temperature packages for reliable operation in temperatures ranging from -40°C to 80°C, ensuring reliability in both outdoor applications and underground facilities. Available options include heaters for cold environments and proprietary cooling architectures for high-temperature applications.

Power Management

Our products support DC power supplies up to 110V, eliminating the need for step-down transformers in many applications.

Shock and Vibration Resistance

Our products feature shock mounting systems and vibration-resistant components designed to withstand seismic activity and the continuous vibration present in power generation facilities, supporting uninterrupted utility operations.

Use Cases

Central Control Stations

VarTech Systems provides reliable computing platforms for Process Automation Systems (PAS) in central control stations, offering drop-in replacement capabilities that match the mechanical designs of existing HMIs along with data security features like RAID arrays for maximum uptime.

Power Plant Management

Plant Information Management Systems (PIMS) in power generation facilities rely on VarTech’s computers’ extreme shock and vibration protection and EMI shielding to maintain operational integrity amongst harsh industrial conditions.

Substation Monitoring and Control

Our products are deployed in transmission, distribution, and underground substations for applications including Energy Management Systems (EMS) and Switchgear Control Panels.

Features like 4G-LTE connectivity, fully sealed IP66 and IP67 enclosures, and protective door options make these solutions ideal for remote and exposed environments.
